Taking Sides

Studio Work: Set Design (Painted Model, Groundplan, Section, Elevations, Projection plan, Props & Technical Requirements List, Reference Photos) & Costume Design (Renderings)

Concept: Taking place in an Albert Scheer-esque structure, specifically with his conceptions of ruin-value and monolithic architecture. The actual structure of the set has degenerated and crumbled but the intended form that the building once was is projected as an elevation drawing, blueprint-like, on a rear scrim. The set progressively is filled with piles and piles of paperwork and chaos. Studio assignment for undergrad (UofA 2017).
